Benjamin Britten is the prominent figure of the “second renaissance” in English music. His Piano Concerto and Violin Concerto are renowned in music history as the most significant works of the composer’s mature symphonic period. Britten’s Piano Concerto is a symphonic concerto rather than a traditional instrumental concerto. It showcases a lightness of touch, joy of playing, along with impressive grand pianistic power, precision and character development.

Beethoven’s deep personal crisis was accompanied by his remarkable creative activity, now recognized as “heroic expression”. In this spirit, you will discover the Seventh Symphony, one of his most endearing and playable works, which the composer himself referred to as ‘one of the happiest results of his miserable talent’.

Ivari Ilja, one of Estonia’s most exceptional pianists of all time, serves as an academic role model for many generations of Estonian pianists to follow. Under Arvo Volmer’s guidance, both our representative orchestras and numerous world-renowned ensembles have embarked on a remarkable musical journey. Anticipate a compelling concert experience!
