The main theme of the festival, held at the Estonia Concert Hall and the Concert Hall of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre from 13 to 17 October 2026, was “The Vital Piano.” Special emphasis was placed on the enduring vitality of the art of piano playing in a rapidly evolving and changing world.

The full spectrum of human emotions expressed through piano music has lost none of its significance or relevance over the centuries. Reflecting this, the festival brought together pianists of all generations, from young students to great masters.

The Artistic Director of the 15th International Piano Festival KLAVER was Sten Heinoja.

The next KLAVER Festival will take place in 2028.
