String music by Vivaldi is performed by Professor Arvo Leibur (violin), director of the string department at the Estonian Music Academy, along with his string students from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EMTA).
“Stabat Mater” tells the story of Vivaldi and his young female musicians of an orphanage in Venice. The programme ked by Arvo Leibur, it is as if Vivaldi himself is on stage with the orphanage’s ensemble.
