The Southern Chorale is a respected choir from the University of Southern Mississippi. The singers are students of conducting and voice. The choir is known for its excellent vocal quality and for performing new music. Conductor Gregory Fuller is an internationally recognised teacher and choir director who has worked closely with Estonian composer Tõnu Kõrvits for many years. Critics have praised the choir’s performances of Kõrvits’s music for their beauty, precision, and depth. The concert also includes authentic American gospel, performed with unique passion and power.
